I am sorry but I must share my frustration with my mini 2 which I have owned for nearly 2 years from new purchased from Currys.

Everytime I have a firmware update which there has been a lot , I always get error 30224 incomptible firmware,

This happens everytime. So I have to go through the same usual tedious downloading of fly app from dji amd install a new copy over the existing one.

Now I have tried clearing cache and my battery has a full charge and so has my tablet and controller all fully charged.

I will not be purchasing the dji mini3 due to the ongoing issues I have had with the mini 2 ...

Sorry but I had to share my frustration after yet again updating to new firmware 1.006..

I had this once with the mini 2 but I cleared the cache and it never happened again.

Yes , your lucky .. I have tried clear the cache everytime with no success ..   I always update with a full battery as well ... but no luck ..

I always have to download fly app from dji then it seems to cure the issue .. which i have just completed today . same old problem.. which I have  posted in the past on this forum when I keep getting the issue..

Hi, Kacey2877. Thank you for reaching out and we're deeply sorry about the inconvenience. If the upgrade cannot be done successfully with the App after clearing the cache and reinstalling the app, it is recommended to update the firmware via DJI Assistant 2. At present, the DJI Assistant 2 software downloaded from the official website cannot upgrade the DJI Mini 2 directly, but the DJI Assistant 2 can be modified to achieve the upgrade. Please check the below steps：

a. Please download the DJI Assistant 2 (Consumer Drones Series) from the DJI Website.(https://www.dji.com/downloads/products/mini-2)
b. Open the folder where the assistant software is located, and find the ""DJI Engine"" folder, find ""defaultsettings.ini"", then open it and change the ""0"" to ""1"". Please refer to the below path for Windows and Mac:
For Windows - Program Files (x86) > DJI Product > DJI Assistant 2 (Consumer Drones) > DJI Engine > find ""defaultsettings.ini"", then open it and change the ""0"" to ""1"".

For Mac: Right-click the DJI Assistant 2 software > Show Package Contents, then follow the below photo to find the defaultsettings.ini.

By chance are you on Android?  Android seems to have a lot of issues.
