Using DJI D-Gamut/D-Log looks like cr*p on the Action3.
Seems to be more fitted for DJI Drone footage, where it looks awesome. Are there any nice profiles for a good starting point for the OA3, or is manually grading the way to go?
Seems like half my question disappeared.. Edited the post now.
So basically what I'm wondering, are there any profile for color space transform that actually looks OK for the OA3, or is manual grading the only way?
@johansenphoto "I use Davinci Resolve and make my own LUTs for all action cameras."
Any chance you have a Resolve tutorial showing how you go about it?
The OA3 cinelike output doesn't seem so flat as other devices and I seem to have constant problems getting skies to look right. The LUT's I've tried so far seem too aggressive... probably fine on flatter content.
Thanks
This is one of the benefits of using a GoPro you've already got ready made ACES IDTs and various Gamma/Gamut transforms. I've not seen anything similar for DJI cameras outside of the drones.

I take a screengrab with colorcard from Davinci Resolve and adjust the colors in Affinity Photo where I export as LUT and import to Davinci Resolve.
I find it easier to adjust colors etc. in Affinity Photo than in Davinci Resolve since I'm not a color expert.
Thank you. I have Lightroom and found a tutorial using that to create the LUT.
You learn something new every day
DJI D-Gamut gives you correct primaries, but the D-Cinelike is not "Log" footage. You can try some of the other gammas. Things like 2.2 or 2.4 work decent, imo.
