If their are waypoints for the DJI mini 3 pro can someone please tell me how to use them with the DJI RC controller

i actually think it might come by this summer.  with rid already in the m3p, why not be able to send the drone off into the distance all by itself?

It would be nice for sure but we are getting closer to a new launch date though, they may hold back and keep it for the newer model, after all, hardware functionality has probably nearly peaked now, maybe omni OA and better battery next but thats probably about it, so they would need to look at other ways to make it better than its predecessor, software is the only thing left, that i can think of anyway and i hope I'm wrong...

They had to release it for the Mavic 3, after all, that is their flagship prosumer drone and not releasing the SDK meant losing waypoints full stop so they had to do something there. Again, thats my own thinking out aloud.

You should be very careful with that,   if your homepoint is above water or somewhere else not approprate to autoland say and you get a disconnect you are loosing the drone.

I'd love to see waypoints and cruise control added to the Mini 3 Pro.  

I would also love to see waypoints for the Mini 3! Used litchi with my Mavic Pro and loved it,,

Waypoints, Cruise Control and Tripod Mode. Come on DJI.

Unfortunately this is only for hyperlapses, but the feature is missing for regular video. I'd love this with regular video like how the mavic 3 got it.

When is DJI "enabling" this already present feature!? It has been a much sought after feature from users for a long time now.

This is not something which DJI has to develop on mini 3 pro , its already present and enabled for hyperlapse. It's just a matter of enabling it for regular mode.

I kind of understand why DJI wanted to hold back when it released - to make sure it didn't eat away into their Mavic Air pie. Now these two drones are clearly different segment and people have different use cases, DJI can relax about it and enable.  ****WAYPOINTS on DJI mini 3 pro***

right; because people have to "step up" to the mavic air in order to get waypoints and if you put waypoints into the mini3pro, who would buy the mavic air?

I asume it is not a hardware issue since waypoints are suported in hyperlaps.
I really do hope waypoints will be supported.

Having Waypoints is cool. Can you provide some guidance on re-arranging the order of waypoints for a "mission"? I would like to follow a perimeter of a property and make waypoints, and then re-arrange them so the drone will fly back and forth across to the various points and not follow the order in which they were made.

Incomplete answer , because I use waypoint with my mini 3 pro , using APP Dronelink .
The DJI APP does not allow it , but third part app does .

... But it is not possible to use third party apps on the rc Controller. Nevertheless the drone has all functionalities to support way points and I suppose the rc Controller has them too.
Way points for Mavic is available since 2022, now we have may 2023. Where is the problem to bring this feature to mini 3 pro OR create transparency, why it is not possible. Also, if dji decided not to provide in the future because of marketing reasons, this will be an answer. Nothing to say is the most worst method.
