Hi all,
lost my Avata today. Despite the fact that it lost the signal more than 50 meters away from the home point, Avata activated some sort of a failsafe RTH, flying rather a straight line RTH without climbing RTH altitude, instead of flying the original route. Thus it flew straight into a clif without any chance to be saved.

I have already contacted support, but my assumption is maybe there is a software bug caused by negative altitude at which the RTH procedure was initiated.

Happened to me 3 times now.  It does say that this is what it will do, but I'm unable to cancel as the reason for the RTH is remote disconnection so I can't cancel.  Video feed is perfect but no remote signal even though I'm not more than 100ft away

Can it be because of radio interference at 2.4GHz? Video is transmitted at 5.8GHz, a different frequency.

It looks like there are some issues with RTH (mine should've climbed). Never had any issues with the mini 2 though.

Same behavior for me each time the RTH is activated. There is clearly a bug, I hope DJI will fix it quickly.

Yeah, as per manual, it should fly back on its original fly route, but something breaks when the Avata is below the home-point.
