I totally agree.

Funny as the news just came on and only negative item was a traffic accident tying up traffic.  Since I am retired that is not a problem for me.  

Supposed to be a sunny, clear day with high temp of 30C, 0% chance of rain and very light winds out of the West.  Sure wish I could go out and fly but that is not possible with only one hand available to use to hand launch and recover and hold RC.  Can't raise right arm more than 6 inches at this time for fear of hurting recovery time of collarbone on that side.

Despite not being able to fly yet I did have a productive day.  I did an online photography course that I've been wanting to take for a while.  I quickly found out how little I knew about photography.

When I was 10 I only had time for farm work and school work but would have been nice to have had some time for photography then.  Oh well, never too late to start I suppose.

Very true and now I'm finally learning a few things about photography.  I was so used to just using auto settings and now I better understand why manual settings are far superior for quality pictures.

Yeah, I have to say that I also tend to shoot in auto quite often. Usually aperture priority.
So I set the aperture and the camera takes care of the rest.
However, I do dial down the EV compensation, so the aimed exposure is a tad darker, which I prefer myself.
