I have a Ronin S.
I stored it attached to the gimbal for about 3 months (unaware I should have removed it from the gimbal)
Now it will not charge.
Is there anything I can do to bring it back to life?

Hi, Phantomwolf. Thank you for reaching out and we're sorry to read about what happened. Please try the steps below:

1. Try to use a charger adapter (charger) for charging. The charging power must be no more than 24 W.
2. Try to use another charging cable. We recommend using an official charging cable. If the official charging cable does not work, please try another USB cable with the same port type.
3. If you have another grip or gimbal on hand, conduct a cross-test to check whether the gimbal or the grip is malfunctioning and return the corresponding module for testing and repair. You may submit an online repair request through this link: {https://repair.dji.com/repair/index}. If you need assistance with creating a ticket, you may contact DJI support at https://www.dji.com/support.
We hope this helps. Thank you for your support.

I tried the charging adapter with the original USB cable and original 120 V power adapter. No luck.

I can power up the Gimbal with the USB cable and wall adapter so I don't believe either is defective. I was also able to charge another device with the cable and power supply.

Someone said the battery may need to be re-flashed. Does that make sense and if so, can I do it myself? What will I need to do it?

Hi, Phantomwolf. If you're pertaining to firmware refresh, yes, that can be done by yourself however, this process requires the gimbal to be on. You'll just need to install the DJI Pro Assistant For Ronin (https://www.dji.com/downloads/products/ronin-s) on your PC and connect the Ronin-S to your computer via the USB-C cable. If your device can't be powered on anymore to undergo this process then I'm afraid that you may consider sending the unit in for a proper diagnosis.  You may submit an online repair request through this link: {https://repair.dji.com/repair/index}. If you need assistance with creating a ticket, you may contact DJI support at https://www.dji.com/support. We understand that this is not the answer that you look forward to, but this would be the best thing to do in this situation. In addition, warranty service can be claimed depending on the result of the Damage Assessment. Your kind understanding is appreciated and thank you for your continued support.

Hello.
Thank you for getting back to me.
I ordered and received two new batteries from DJI. Both batteries are food and the charging as well as the gimbal work fine.
The obvious problem is with the original battery.
Dan the battery be revived?

Hi there. Thank you for reaching out and we're sorry for the trouble. Do you still experience the said issue? Can you please charge the batteries using the drone one by one for the first time to bring it out to hibernation mode? If the issue persists, please provide us with a short video showing the issue so we can check. Please keep us posted. Thank you.
