Wow, he almost pulled out the biggest fish on record.

The world record carp catch was recorded in 2013, when a fisherman in the UK caught a fish weighing in at 51.8 kg (114 lb 3 oz). The carp was caught using a rod and line, and the fish was officially recognised by the Guinness World Records.

That's like pulling in a baby whale.

I'm mostly a freshwater fisherman.  I love to go after bass locally and when I'm in Colorado I try to catch some trout and while in Alaska I always go after salmon.

Yes I can relate to catching something you can eat.
But carp?  All they do is haul them out, take a few photographs, then put 'em back.
Chas tells me it took him and his son to lift that one onto the bank.
Not for eating, just for "sport"

Quite so.  I was there with his permission of course, doing a video for him.
It's a lovely spot on the outskirts of a village near where we used to live.

Yeah, I don't think I'd eat carp.  However, bass, trout and salmon are all great for eating.  Besides scuba diving I think fishing is my 2nd most enjoyed hobby.

It does,  in the mean time Ive just made new labels for my batteries as the old ones starting to get tatty.     I guess that happens with a lightly used drone.
