I have a question..
Is it possible to reverse the stick controls on the transmiter?
The reason I ask is because i want to get some shots that are facing towards the subject while flying backwards ( like in front of a car for example) but im not that comfortable flying backwards with the reversed controls.

Maybe there's a way to reverse the controls in the DJI app?

ogg course we do, it is IOC course lock, switch mode to the last position on top left edge of your controller, reset the heading to point away from the car, once set then turn the p3 around so it is pointing at the car, now forward on the right stick(if u r in mode 2) will always be taking you in the direction of the car travel (in another words backwards with the camera facing the car).
go out and practice it first, u dont wanna be a bug on the windshield

Yes you do. Enable multiple flight mode in app, then you flip left switch all the way (GPS-OPTI, ATTI, F) It will ask if you want to reset nose heading. If it's not where you want it hit reset then x out. If it's ok, just exit out. This is on Android. I assume they are the same as IOS

Ohhhh - I thought it was to enable the bird to circle a spot, keeping the camera on it. For that, why not just fly backwards? Same, no? Or (even better) reverse the video! ;-)

reversing the video only works when there are no moving subjects in your frame.. otherwise you get things like people walking backwards etc..

Have the vehicle in question drive in reverse... ;-)

As mentioned above of 'Course' you can... Good 'lock'.

I don't think that solves the problem.  I don't think he is worried about flying straight away.  He is worried about maneuvering while flying away.  Anybody can fly straight away.  My answer, being that I have flown many hours with RC airplanes, is to practice and learn how to fly and that will solve that problem.  Put the time in practicing and it will come natural to you.
