Shortly flew from Dranouter to Kemmel, but made use of spotters (my wife, among others.) From across the festival area, which continues in the first weekend of August. You will also see the military communications tower, which is of course no longer in use. Under that hill (the Kemmelberg) is also a gigantic bunker. Was all active during the cold war. At the end you also see a part of the trenches: a part of a German trench system can be seen. The German troops captured this place from the French in 1914 and renamed the site 'Bayernwald'. Here you will also find two listening shafts. The German soldiers feared British deep mines and were able to eavesdrop on enemy activities thanks to these corridors. Bayernwald has been reconstructed based on archaeological research and shows you 10% of the original construction from WWI.

Great views of the area. If I might make an observation, ten minutes is rather a long time to retain viewers until the end.  I watched the entire sequence at double speed, reducing the viewing time by half. Soundtrack notwithstanding, the viewing experience was not adversely affected by the speed up.
Something you might like to consider if you want to retain your viewers until the end.

I've just had my M2Zoom out for some extended flying - used up two batteries.  First time it's been in the air for more than a month.

There are, of course, many myths going around. Certainly about 10 years ago, that there would be nuclear rackets. And how come those rumors were.... right here in the region it is a test, airspace exercises, and this since the existence of military aircraft in Belgium and even Dutch aircraft. Once a month we can see and hear exercise. With that, the residents here thought, this is strictly guarded! Certainly this a while ago the American army wanted to place missiles in Belgium (been in the news quite a bit). But since that place has been made public to visit, this myth has been debunked.
