Hi all,

I've had various problems with setting up and using the Phantom 3 including errors when installing firmware.

A discorvery I made when using iOS devices is that you need to make sure your using either the official Apple Lightning cable or one that's been properly certifed.

One test you can do with a cheap cable is to hook it up to an iPhone 6 / 6 Plus and charge it on a 2.1amp rated charger. It will charge at twice the rate when using certified cables but only at 1amp, half as fast, using non-certified cables. If you have a mains adapter that shows current draw that's another way to show the current useage.

Obviously the surrest way is just to buy the Apple version - http://goo.gl/QdX4aO

But there are others that i've used that also work fine :-

These are also neater as they dont leave all the slack cable over the controller.
