Right now items that use a lot of energy while being produced (concrete, glass, insulation) are sky high.
But we do want to proceed and hope for some cuts in prices and do a lot ourselves.

Yes, I'll do my best to make it as short as possible, but there are some bottlenecks like 6 weeks of drying time before the final floor can be laid over the foamconcrete.
Now I hope to be able to do other stuff in the meantime, but I also don't want to damage that.
And the plaster also has quite a bit of drying time before we can finish it. So all in all, lots of planning.
I'm not sure if I want to be documenting it completely, but who knows.
It might be a fun project to watch and learn.
I only have to be careful with sharing the footage, since I'm applying for insulation subsidy and that is only valid when you're not applying it yourself.
And I am hiring a professional too, but also want to do stuff myself.
So I have to think about that.

I didnt know foamcrete took that long before you could cover it.   

With plaster i love how you see tv makeover shows that plaster in the morning and paint it the same day. Not my cup of tea for sure.

Apparently it has to.
We'll apply fiberglass wallpaper afterwards, so I'm making sure I will wait long enough.

Yeah a bit more than regular wallpaper, well, we just like it and you don't need a lot of rolls, since they are 1m wide.

maybe the stuff google found isn't normal but it was £125 a roll.

Yeah, it's expensive for sure.
But you can do more with one roll compared to regular paper.
Usually the are 50x1m.
Where the normal wallpaper is half as wide and (depending on the type) only gets a 10-20m or so.

That makes it a bit more reasonable then,  I read that its harder wearing,  hopefully its also easier to hang.

Thats good,  I hate doing regular paper,  I also waste a lot getting it right.
