Yeah, don't get me started on how worthless and incompetent UPS is.

My ups experience is wearing thin too.    And hopefully ive only got one return to do and them i can  have a break.   Funny though.  Yesterday just after i dropped off the battery, ups pulled up outside.  Not expecting anything i was a bit confused but it was shoes for ShmboD.

I've had it with UPS.  I sent a scathing letter to the COO detailing all the shortcomings that I have experienced with using them.  I'm sure some secretary will read it and throw it in the shredder but made me feel good to let them know what I think of their worthless logistics capabilities.

I wouldn't use them out of choice,  but in this case I dont really get a choice.

Yeah, nothing you can do when you have no other alternative.  As for me and when I can I'm going to vote with my money for shipping going to Fedex or USPS.  Not that a one person protest will hurt there bottom line but more a principal involved.

I have to confess I do that too but only because Im cheap and always pick the cheapest delivery and UPS is never the cheapest.

Not the cheapest is another reason to avoid UPS as often as possible.

Well they did it again,  the picked up the parcel from the drop off point on Monday and this morning its out for delivery in Nuth.    So they can do it.  Just not reliably.

Nice to know that there is always a slight chance that UPS gets something right.  Trouble is they are more often wrong than right.  I'm really amazed that they are able to maintain an annual profitability.  

Good to know at least your package made it quickly to Nuth.

Well so far this is playing out just as expected.    Dropped off Friday,   collected Monday,  Delivered DJI Tuesday,   DJI confirm receipt Wednesday.   So my guess is tomorrow I will see the assessment.

They are so much faster than the repair sites in the US.  Replacements are fast but actual repairs are on a be patient and wait status.

Okay, that was what I was thinking.  So only way I know to repair that is to disassemble it and replace the outer case.  No way they can just repair the tab.

Sounds like you are getting a replacement battery vice a repaired battery.  Now if they will only expedite direct shipping and not via a circuitous route.

Im not sure why I bothered but I do check over the weekends to see if there was any movement.    I was wondering if they collect the days parcels to ship at the same time as they deliver.

I think it depends on the location.  I know that some sites such as in NJ  and NY they depend on UPS and FEDEX for pick-up.  Locally, it is easier to take it to one of the affiliate stores and it gets picked up regularly at a set time each day.

I woud imagine DJI have too much to take to a drop off point.

Yeah, that is probably true.  Also, it is probably not a priority as they already have the label made and in there system it is out of their hands regardless of when the carrier picks it up.  That way they can always blame the carrier even though it may have sat in their warehouse/building overnight or over the weekend.
