The island that you can rent.......

Was out on the river blackwater and couldnt resist grabbing a shot of this private for rent island.

Probably good for communing with the wildlife, and maybe a bit of stock grazing. Not really a holiday isle

I think the weather is probably letting it down a bit,  the light today is terrible.    And so was my tide timing,   3 how's after low tide it was already covering the oyster beds.

Great shot DA.    The blackwater estuary looks very calm in that shot.  Nothing like renting your own island.

Cheers DT.   The wind was picking up as I was leaving,   and at altitude you could I could tell by my speed the wind was effecting it.  

Sadly I messed up the time of arrival so my shots over the oyster beds are of them under water.     Low tide was 6am and we go there around 9am to find they were covered.

No doubt the tide waits on nobody.  You'll have plenty of opportunities to film the oysters.

Getting there is quite limited to a short low tide window i believe.   

Parking for the location is only a 10 minute detour from the MIL but it also requires a 2 mile walk to a good TOALP.

There's no dedicated H pad over there that I can see,  but there are plenty of fields that would work too for that.

It stayed grey here all day,    as you can see from the island shot,     Took a third walk out with the Mini2 for a  test of the replacement and by the time I flew one battery the wind was getting up again.

This morning is lovely and clear,  we had a bright orange/red sunrise which I watched from the kitchen window as we were supposed to be making an early start on a little day trip but SHMBO'd is not stiring yet.    Probably a no drone day for me although I will pop it in the car just in case.

Tomorrow here starts -1c and full sun.  Sadly we have a hospital visit that will spoil the day.

Unless the fields are super wet it shouldn't be a problem.  One of these days they say we will be flying our own 1 or 2 person mini-helos.  Think of the air traffic nightmares that will probably create.

Ive seen a modified Agras over on YouTube doing just that.

I was out for sunrise too and it just kept getting colder and colder here,   and annoyingly I was a little late as Im a bit slow today after the accident.

Yes.  Only minor,   I ran into a brick wall and slashed my thigh open along with some bruising and twisted ankle.

Fortunalty I can still hobble and still managed 4 miles this morning. Just slower than normal.

My flight was from outside in the courtyard - same as yesterday evening.  Not much mileage - a total of about 20 horizontal feet

Im sure the two immediate neighbours would be,  the chap further up the road loves to see the gutter inspection.  But one opposite is always looking for excuses to complain about something.
