I saw it in the evening sky through the lounge window, but not this morning.

Those are all stunning. If I had to pick one, it would be 2 or 7. Or 3 or 6.

I got home from school late one time on a day that I really needed to get chores done.  I told my grandmother I was sorry that I was late but would get right on the farm chores.  She said "That's okay, just don't be late for your own funeral."  I couldn't figure that one out at the time but later the light bulb came on.

There is approx 30 minutes between the first and the last shot.   The light changes very quickly.

There's some real history to that phrase.

I didn't know that phrase went back that far.  I always thought my grandmother had made it up as she had lots of sayings for different things.  Strange thing was I was rarely late, especially for getting to daily chores.  

She made very meal from scratch and was up from 4 AM starting breakfast and didn't go to bed until well after 10 PM.  She was a whirlwind of perpetual motion.  I never saw her sick once.  She died at 103 years old.  Her husband died at 101.  I'm thinking that not eating processed food and always doing something cardio related helped her to live that long.
