How is the WiFi changing states on this camera?

Anyone knows? Is it constantly on when camera is on? It seems.

Is there a way to turn it off to save some battery?

Based on my research, WiFi consumes awful lot of energy, so it would come in handy on a small battery like these devices have.

Thoughts?

Hi, Danergo. Thank you for reaching out. Regretfully, there's no way to turn off the Wi-fi function in DJI Action 2. The Wi-fi does not consume excessive power, and power consumption is negligible, once the device has been turned on, the Wi-fi will automatically be turned on. If you would like to save some battery while using the device, we suggest trying the screen-off function. There are three screen-off options for DJI Action 2: "Scrn Off When Rec", "Scrn Off When Locked", and "Scrn Off During Livestreaming". Hope this helps, thank you for your valued support.
