But with the power of the drone one can get above the fog to still watch the sun come up.

Wow, absolutely splendid shots DA.    The colors in the sky are so vivid.  Amazing what kind of shots you can capture when you get above the top of the fog layer.  Great job!

Thanks Mr B.    First flight was fine,  the second the props froze up before I even climbed above 10ft.

Funny though Prezzo it wasnt very high,  the fog collects in a valley.

The funny thing is when I fly over the top of the fog,  it doesn't feel like the drone is actually moving.

Yes it is a bit like that.     Im guessing it's just so big you dont register the movement that quickly.

Well the odd thing was I took off and flew through the fog for about 15 minutes without any issues but when I swapped batteries and hovered at 10 ft for 30 seconds thats when the issue happened.  Seems the cold air is nearest the ground.   It was strange fog though,  seemed like it was in little flakes.

I hope to be catching some fog next week. They are predicting it.
