Always like the Original case, it is  the correctly made one.

H missed the Tilta brand which I had for my Osmo Action and loved it.  Here is the Tilta Cage for the OA3:

do you use the Tilta filter?

I use the Ulanzi cage with Telesin pop up filtter

Alu cages are heavy  arround 95gr
it is a lot more weight on a helmet

I already think action cameras are too heavy for my helmet.

Thanks for the tip, it doesn't look bad.
But not sure if it have magnet side mount also for vertical mounting or if it need the gopro mount for that?

Edit: looks like only gopro side mount, but not that I shoot vertical lol

yes that they did not think of and DJI's fault, still like the original and old shoes can get glued on if needed

Doesn't want to "ruin" the original case, and buying a new one is almost the same price as the cheapest metal one.
But I still have to see if I bother buying a new case.

I did use the Tilta on my original Osmo Action camera because I needed something trustworthy to mount the camera on the wing strut of my airplane.  But the Osmo Action 3 has such a robust new magnetic/clamping mount that it can be mounted without using a cage.  I don't have a need for a cold shoe either so again no need for a special cage.

For a second I thought it was you.

Ulanzi OA 11  with Feichao cold shoe (39gr)

MagClip from Røde? you can use it without cage

The only reason I want another cage is so I can use my Røde Video Micro on top (or side). But no plans yet for buying any cage for it.
