Hi there. Thanks for reaching out. We're sorry you're experiencing such difficulties with your DJI Action 2. Here are some troubleshooting steps you may perform:
1. If the camera is inactivated, kindly activate it.
2. Enable the following permissions on the mobile phone:
a. Mobile phone location;
b. Location information;
c. GPS location.
3. Set the camera's WiFi Frequency depending on your location and mobile phone support.
If it only supports 2.4 GHz, set it to 2.4 GHz.
If it supports both 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz, set it to Auto (default).
Go to Settings - Wireless Connection - Wi-Fi Frequency.
4. Go to DJI Action 2 Wireless Connection page and on the mobile phone, go to Settings>Wi-Fi List and connect to the Wi-Fi signal started with Osmo Action.
5. If the mobile phone supports WLAN+/WLAN Assistant, disable the WLAN+/WLAN Assistant to prevent the mobile phone system from switching to Wi-Fi automatically.
6. Manually modify the IP address. Here's how:
a. Set the IP to DHCP (dynamic) and input 192.168.2.100 in the IP address column. Then, try again;
b. If the issue persists, switch it to a static IP to reconnect and retry;
c. Switch to DHCP (dynamic) and then input the IP. Reconnect to it.
7. Launch the DJI Mimo.
If the connection still fails, kindly post a short video showing the connection failure. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. |
