I keep seeing mention that the Mavic 3E now has Smart Oblique added but despite the fact that everything is up-to-date according to sources I can find I do not see that option. I have been mapping for 8 years and there are some basic functionalities that Pilot 2 is lacking. Having a mapping plan with no gimbal pitch control is short-sided and the 5-piece oblique task creates way too much data. Per a client's requirements I need to run a single grid mission with a 75deg gimbal in which the drone heading follows the flight line. The way it is now the drone runs with a static heading and captures twice the number of images need on just two of the 5 plans. I can cut the overlap in half but missions 2 and 4 run the exact same flight line so I just have to run it as is and then go back and cull out half the images.
Base reason for the post though is, why don't I see Smart Oblique?
