Good morning, I'm attempting to find out why my mini 3 pro won't even fly 1 mile away from the home point. I'm using the RC Controller and the drone is fully updated 1.9.4. I'm flying in a very wide open area in Georgia with no obstructions. What could be the issue?

Thank u for your response Wanda. I have flown here several times and I have flown other places with the same results. The RC Controller states a weak signal, but everywhere. I'll look for a video.

Hello Wanda, I attempted to send you 2 zip files of the video flight, but when i attempted to send them to you by attaching the zip files i received a message stating that it was a server error. Is there another way to send these large files? also have you heard of my problem before with any other DJI mini 3 pro flyers with the DJI RC controller?

This is a problem that many people have complained about. Unfortunately, its a problem with the drone design.

Hope so,  but you can see they added front legs in the new mini 3 that house longer antennas. If the range really bothers you you should upgrade to the Mavic 3 classic. That is just my opinion.

Hello, I gave you everything including videos of the flights. Is this in the process of being repaired through an update or something? DJI is advertising 10KM and I'm nowhere near that at under 1 mile. The date of the flight is February 7, 2023.

Have you checked what the Max distance is set to?

Sorry for the late response. We checked your flight records and found that the Max Flight Altitude of recent flights is relatively low. Please ascend your aircraft to a higher altitude and make sure the remote controller gains the Optimal Transmission Zone. You can view the User Manual:

In your video, there are many trees and they may block the signals. Please change to a place with less interference or move to an open field as well.
