Cheers DT.   It was actually spitting a little as we say here.   I was just bring the drone back in and had an idea for a shot when the train was approaching.

At that time of day they are usually quite frequent,  although yesterday they were all going at a runners pace.

8 an hour 4 in each direction I would say was the average,  although they get more frequent after Ive left.

Not as simple as that,   not all trains take the same route,  there is a loop that adds an hour if you wanted London.  Also if it's a "fast" train which will stop at few places then it could be already full,   even though there are only 5 stations before it.

Oh no, not as convenient as I originally thought.  

Just saw where there was another train derailment and it was in Bradenton, Florida.  They were lucky the propane filled cars didn't blow up or leak.

Man, what's up with all these train accidents?  The one in Bradenton, Florida was caused due to lack of maintenance on the rails it has been determined.  The bed beneath the rails were getting soft and should have had maintenance action done on them to prevent this derailment.  No doubt somebody's head is on the chopping block.

They needed that machine I photographed the other day then.   Although I suspect you have a larger gauge track.
