I was being a little flippant,    it really depends and hard to predict.    by May it should be warming up by our standards.

May sounds much better than July.  However, Mother Nature can be a bit.. and do as she pleases.

Ashes,   I don't think we do sea burials.

The Navy and Coast Guard still provide that service for veterans that desire it.  From what I've seen more of those veterans opt for cremation and then scatter their ashes at sea vice full body burial at sea.  I don't plan on becoming a shark's meal now or later.

Dont worry,  on my morning walking (which I reduced to 3 miles) plenty of the white stuff settled on me.

Some people are just terrible drivers and have no respect for walkers, bikers, etc.  Then again I've seen a few drivers swerve to hit a puddle to drown somebody nearby with water.  Saw it happen 3 different times in one day in a visit several years back to NY City.

SHMBO'd went into the office yesterday for the first time in 3 months,   just for a half day to find half the floor was out with C19 and the other half stayed home just in case.  She wasnt impressed.

Indeed.   Something odd happened this week.    Where we personally have seen an up tick in cases in the area the local hospital announced that for the first time since it all started, that it was covid free.

Now that is fantastic news.  Let's hope that trend continues.  Still seeing outbreaks here in the US as it moves from one strain to another.  Sometimes I wonder if there is an end in sight for C19.

We were talking about that at the weekend,   It seems the news (at least here0 has gone very quiet on new strains,  there was a time when each month a new strain was reported.
