DJI Assistant Consumer Drone Version 2.1.16

I've tried restarting the assistant as well as the PC. Sometimes it connects, sometimes it does not. Never do I receive any option to choose my drone from any list as shown in the tutorial. Now, for the last few days, it shows only the screenshot provided.

Hi, Xyllabus. Thanks for reaching out and apologies for the inconvenience. Here are some troubleshooting steps you may perform:
1. Use your Windows computer. Install DJI Assistant 2 For Mavic.
2. Turn off the Firewall.
3. Replace the USB cable.
4. Install the driver manually. Here are the steps:
a. Unplug and plug in the USB cable or use another USB cable. Turn off the antivirus program on the computer. Reinstall DJI Assistant 2. Manually re-install the driver.
b. Right-click “My Computer” --> “Administration” --> Select “Device Manager,” and check the drivers that should be installed in Windows (as shown in the figure).

The link you provided is not available. See screenshot. I love all 4 of my DJI drones, but this is upsetting. I'm unable to fly the Mavic 2 if I cannot calibrate the sensors.

If you are having trouble connecting to the DJI Assistant 2 software, here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot and fix the issue:

Restart DJI Assistant 2: Close the DJI Assistant 2 software and then reopen it to see if the connection issue is resolved.

Hi Rachel,
all of your mentioned actions ahve been done more than numerous times at 3 different computers - all running Windows 11.  Lastly I have tried another two computers running Windows 10 x.86 and Windows 7 x.64. In all cases the Intelligent Controller is not detected.
My Windows 11 workstations report That the last connected USB does not operate correctly.  So obviously the driver (s) have a difficulty. I think, it is a matter of the language of the OS (German in my cases) which causes the error.

When I connect my DJI AIR 2S, it is correctly discovered by the workstations.

I do not assume, that there is a fault in the Intelligent Controller, ass all functions I need while flying are o.k. I can update the Controller over WLAN with no problem. Al my software on the controller is updated to latest version.

Hello there. Let me help you further. If other drones cannot also be recognized, it might be a connection issue. Have you already tried replacing the data cable and turning off the antivirus program on the computer in WIN7 or a later system? Also, Please make sure you are using the correct version of Assistant 2 depending on your drone. Please keep us posted.

I have this issue on one laptop with windows 11,  my windows 10 laptops are able to connect via the app and same usb cable.   The folders on the drones USB card do show up on the win 11 pc,  just DJI assistant (all version, types)  don't detect the drone.  I fix drones and I know its not the drones.  It's probably a permission issue associated with the USB port. once I figure  it out I'll post the solution , thx Orlando Drone Repair Eric

I am unable to update the firmware on my DJI Mini SE.

I first tried to download via the DJI Fly app, was able to download the firmware update but when I go to install it is stuck at 0%.

I then tried the DJI Assistant 2 (for consumer drones), which was recommended by this forum. When I connect the drone to my computer it does not give me the option for firmware updates it recognizes the drone but does not give an option for firmware updates only the logs.

Please tell me how I’m supposed to update the firmware for my drone. This has been a week of trial and failure and has been very frustrating.

i was told i need to use assistant 2 to complete updates.  My videos are choppy.  Using ScanDisk Extreme U3 V30 card.

Hi, I have the Mavic Air 2S with Smart Controller and the only update that doesn't work is the Flysafe Database which stops at 40%. I spoke to Dji Support and they talked me through installing the correct version of dji assistant 2 but it will not recognise my Drone even with different cables! dji expect me to return my Drone for Repair but it is out of warranty and will cost me lots! Have You found a solution to the DJI assistant 2 not recognising the Air 2S Yet? I would be very grateful for your advice. Thankyou

I am unable to log into Assistant, receiving error that password is incorrect.  I do have the Enterprise version installed also on computer, as I use it for what I fly for work.  Password is obviously not incorrect as I am logged into here.
