There is new world record for "One Direction Distance" with Inspire 1 (with stock antenna).
12266 meters or 40244 ft. or 7.62 miles

really great........brave soul, flying that far, and landing in the middle of nowhere.  How long did it take you to find it?

Now when interested bystanders ask me the usual question, 'how far can it fly before you lose range?' I'll have to tell them that a crazy guy in Turkey got 12Km!
Well done - that's a big effort. The most distance I've ventured has been a couple of Km.

Next time you should get a friend to be at the endpoint with a freshly charged TB48 so you can do the return flight!

I'm not sure that I will try again. I'm not ready to lose this Inspire, especially after he succeeded such long distance.
I will spoil my Inspire 1 with short distance flights for some time :-)

Notes: My battery was TB48. After 8000 meters, we put an simple 3d printed aluminium apparatus on the antenna. But, there is no effect on the range according my tests. Here is the picture of it:

Are you saying that the aluminum apparatus you put on your antennas did not help your range at all?

There was heavy wind, Inspire's speed was between 28-30 m/s all the time. I used ATTI mod.

Lightbridge never lost signal?  I tend to lose the video after 3,500 feet or after my device heats up.
