Apple ProRes 4444XQ bit depth: 12bit;
Apple ProRes 422 HQ/Apple ProRes 422/ Apple ProRes 422LT bit depth: 10bit;
H.264 (4:2:0 10-bit) bit depth: 10bit.

Prores Raw is always 12bit min and 16bit with sony camera.

Hi, Zak Ray. Sorry for the inconvenience. We have checked it with our relevant team and they confirmed that Apple ProRes RAW HQ and Apple ProRes RAW of DJI Ronin 4D support 16 bits of depth.

Thanks Gamora. I notice on the FAQ it says Raw HQ is used for 8K, 5.5K, 6K and 4K, and that regular Raw is used for 8K and 5.5K. Since the 6K model only has 6K and 4K, does that mean the 6K model only uses Raw HQ? Or does it use both?

I'd be happy for anyone with a 4D to do a record test and verify. (If you aren't aware, you can use MediaInfo or a program like DaVinci Resolve to check)

Yeah, I'm thinking about taking the plunge to get the ProRes RAW license. In my 6K Ronin 4D camera it says ProRes RAW, and definitely NOT ProRes RAW HQ in the menu options.

So I took am a little reticent to believe that it records 16 bit raw. Especially at HALF the file size of 4444 XQ.

If anybody has done these tests... we'd love to know.

Looks like I might end up being the one to bite the bullet... lol. Gonna need to wait at least a week though.

If anybody has already bought the RAW license, please chime in.

i bought licence. its match better then 4444 hq.  unusable codec.
