That was last week just before Id decided to send the Mini 3 in for service.  
Noting but rain here,  managed to escape between showers but I soon got rained off.   Any snow plans?

It's all melting very quickly, what littl there is, and at the same time there's taht fine drizzle of  tiniy snowflakes that melt on landing.

I think you must be in your own little bubble there.   Looking on the webcams Buxton seems to have a reasonable amount.   https://buxtonweather.co

Here the rain turned to snow,  about marble sized clusters,  then after an hour of that it stopped and the gale force winds are in play.

Interesting how the green differs. Is that fake lawn?

Yes very fake,   Ive seen them on occasion brush it with a little quad bike with the brush towed behind.

Brilliant blue skies here and the snow has mostly melted.  All the passes to the North, East and South-East were blocked this morning. I took the bus towards Buxton for a walk in the snow. About 20cms on the hill above Whaley Bridge. Pics later. Just got back.

At least you got some access to the snow.    Here the clouds are rolling in and more rain is due in 10 minutes.

I crossed the channel to France in worse.    And it was wild,  and very tiring to helm.

Yes,     normally motor gives way to sail,  but the lanes are the exception,  so I had turned to come behind the tanker but then he turned towards us,  we made these moves about 3 times before he stopped.  He also ignored calls on the radio.

Sounds a bit like he was messing with you, especially since he ignored your radio calls.

Oh yes. Not a shadow of doubt on that,   sadly it added 4 hours to the crossing,  of which most of that we weren't moving over found,  just over water.
