I only have a USB mic so can't test, does the DJI mics transmitter audio negative gain still work when an external lav mic is connected?Also, while I'm about it... what lav mic is recommended to record internally but which is mounted in a motorcycle helmet so being very close to my mouth.

The answer is yes, an external lav mics gain can be controlled by the transmitter when recording internally.
