Heads up to anyone wanting to test out Android 14 when it releases to Beta. DJI Fly will crash instantly like it does every year when Android updates. DJI you better start working on fixing it as soon as the API is final because it's annoying this happens every single year. No other app I use does this except DJI apps.

I figured this was coming.  I just got the notification for Android 14 and thought to check here first.  I did alternatively install Fly on my work iPhone, so at least I'll have a workaround until it's fixed!

It's a recurrent topic. Every android update, DJI Fly is unusable for all while. I have 129 apps installed and ONLY this crashes...

Agreed, this is a PITA. Surely 2 Developer versions of 14 is enough time to test the Fly app and have it ready for us beta bunnies.

Same problem after android 14 update, it's the only app that crashes.  Can't upload to my phone the easy way, hope this is fixed asap cause my phone is better at handling higher image quality than my current laptop.

Yeah just confirmed. I took the Android 14 update and DJI Fly instantly crashes. Last Android beta suspended my flying for months until I decided to drop it on my work phone as a backup. Last go round killed my hikconnect as well, but they seem to have stayed on top of it this time.  I ONLY lost Fly on this update. On pixel 6.

I also experience same issue with pixel 7 pro Android 14 beta update

Unfortunately the new v1.10.0 version still doesn't work on Android 14 beta. App still crashes at launch.

As usual. Same happened with 13.  Released 2 or 3 app updates but didnt take the android version into count

Just bumping, tried the latest version and still can't use my phone to fly. It won't even launch.

Latest v1.10.1 version of Fly app opens correctly on latest 14 beta 2.

It launches for me in beta 2. I haven't tested that everything else works, but it does launch.

Just installed Android 14, Beta 2 on P7P. DJI Fly app opened up just fine. Was able to fly Mini 2 with zero issues!

And 14.3 breaks it again. Crash on open. Boo

Hey DJI, can we please speed up the process on this, I just installed Android 14 Beta 3 and the app won't launch at all which left my drone completely unusable. Please have it fixed asap, thanks.

Running Android 14 Beta 3 (UPB3.230519.014) on a Pixel 6 Pro, DJI Fly app version 1.10.1 will not open, crashes every time.

Sad to say, bur the new version didn't fix this problem.
Still can't use my pixel 6 with DJI Fly.

For me also no difference. App crashes on start.

Great.  I just got a new galaxy A14 5G with Android 13 just so I could fly my new Mini 3 Pro on it so have turned off automatic updates over wifi.

Glad I found this thread.

Just discovered that we have to download this party applications (Litchi) and pay them in other to use the drone.
