Not a good choice if you intend to travel with it due to its weight.

Hopefully, it's not too expensive.$1200 would be nice, but knowing DJI it will be triple that price.

Classic would be a good choice as it is the same as Mavic 3 except for camera.

We can only hope that the price is not excessive.

Isn't the camera exactly the same except for the zoom part?

Air 3 probably pretty much the same specks as the Autel lite+ drone.

Are you not talking of the Cine Mavic 3? The normal Mavic 3 and Classic would be about $1000 to $1500 difference.

Yes, the cine version. The only difference (besides the tele lens) is Apple Prores.

Yes, then that is a Hugh price difference. I don't see the reason for buying a cine version unless you need pro res, the normal Mavic 3 does just fine.

Mine has been amazing except for the crash I had because of a bird but the new one is just terrific. I personally believe that my new one camera is better and more sharper than previous model and it flys and handles better.

I wouldn't recommend a Mavic 3 (anything). Since they stop selling the Mavic 3, the trend now seems to be the Air 2S... It ticks all the boxes and it is reasonably priced...

The Air 2S is a solid drone never had any issues plus I feel very comfortable flying.
As  you said "It ticks all the boxes"
As far as the Mavic 3 Pro, I have had several issues and now in the process of returning it for the second time. I think I'll hold off on a replacement and wait to see if the rumors are true on the Air 3S being released soon. I should have kept the Mavic 3 classic.......but I wanted the latest and greatest, oh well lesson learned.

When they release drones so quickly, there is no time for R&D. I have learned that with the Mini 3 Pro, that I'm 100% sure eventually will be coming out with a fan or a much bigger heat sink (and probably called Mini 4)...

I'm seriously thinking of getting the Air 2S, even if the Air 3 is coming, because I got the feelings that it will be just a Déjà vu like the Mavic 3 Pro and the Mini 3 Pro... I like the idea to own a drone that doesn't require a monthly firmware update and has no gimbal and or lens issues. IMO...

I recommend the air 2S it is a solid drone, to tell you the truth I may hold off on the air 3S for for a while due to my experience with the mavic 3 pro.
