Hi Folks

I just got my first drone - a DJI mini SE.

After some flights i wantet to test the manual transmission, to do a range test and the 2,4gz net.

But since that flight i havnt been able to connect to my drone again. My drone just flash a yellow light and i tryed everything:
Reinstalling the app, the 4 second press connect, Dji assistent 2 update, another tablet/iphone... and still cant connect.

What to do? - I can see others with same issue but not solutions from DJI.

Anyone got a tip? Can i hard reset the drone in the DJI assistent?

Hi, Dronepilot_1975. Thanks for reaching out, and we're sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you. May we ask if you have the option to change the transmission channel back to "Auto?" We'll be waiting for your confirmation.

Yes, i have tryed to change back to auto, but the button flashes shortly and goes back to manuel settings.

Its stucked at manuel settings/transmission.

We're sorry about that. Kindly try removing the SD card, restart the drone and try to reconnect. If the issue remains, please send a short video of the linking process. Thanks for your cooperation.

Hi, I’m having exactly the same problem. Just was curious about manual settings and now I can’t get the drone connected. Removing memory card didn’t help. Pressing power button on aircraft for 4 seconds doesn’t start pairing procedure. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Ray

Hi, Ray. We're sorry you're experiencing the same issue. Here are some recommended troubleshooting steps you may perform:
1. Confirm that the remote controller and the aircraft have been powered on.
2. If there is an SD inserted, please remove the microSD card from the aircraft and restart it.
3. Switch the linking method between “Linking with the app,” and “Linking with combination buttons.”
4. If it is invalid, check whether the remote controller has been updated to the latest version. Connect the remote controller to the app. After the connection is successful, check whether there is a prompt to update the firmware. If yes, update the firmware to the latest version and try linking again.
5. If the linking still fails, please check whether the aircraft firmware has been updated to the latest version. Connect DJI Assistant 2 (Consumer Drones Series) and update to the latest version and try linking.
If the issue remains, please record the linking process and share it with us. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Hi, I tried all possibilities, including firmware update through DJI Assistant 2. I read on a serveral websites this issue is caused by faulty motherboard in the aircraft. I had bought it just a few weeks ago so finally I gave it back to the store for repair service. It’s a pity, because flying was such a fun…

It’s been half a year now, but I just want to say I had my drone replaced quickly (waited around week) and since that time it works like a charm I just love it, and taking it anywhere I go! It is such a fun!
