I took my replacement Mini3 Pro to meet the Castle,  well it would be rude not to as Im sure it will be opening many hours there over the next couple of months.   The flight data recorder was set to 1 when I got the drone so I suspect its a new model and not a refurb,   the replacement Mini2's Ive had previously had a few flights on the log, until the final one which is perfect was also 1.


So far,  things I notice that are different,  apart from the legs don't wobble.


Flys straight, and does yaw when you come to a stop.
Flys straight in RTH, previously it would yaw during a RTH.
No wind warnings even though there was more wind than would have triggered them before.
Flying in sports mode into wind didnt cause the drone to slow down to a halt or give overload messages.  
The new style gimbal guard is a delight to fit,.
The SD Card slot is so much easier to use,   I can actually eject the card with my finger,  still not as easy as the other drones though.
Sphere stitching seems more reliable,  probably due to being more stable as the legs aren't wobbling.

So overall it was money well spent to get the leg issue resolved.

Yes,  I had to pay for the repair as they would not cover the wear on the legs under warranty.   But it was so cheap it wasn't worth arguing over.  

Nice pic with your replacement drone.sounds like you did well on the exchange.

Thanks.   Yes so far Im very happy.    Hopefully this one will hold up to the next 5000km as well as the last one did.

If you balance that against the cost of the replacement, you must have the best economy in feet per pound of anyone

Congrats How much did they charge fro the replacement?

They charged me for the arm hinge part that was pennies and shipping.

If you work out number of flights/cost it's running about £1 a flight I think.   Except the drone and fly more combo were all free from Argos.

Lightroom had the same fault stitching it too,  so possibly a bit of movement as it was quite windy this morning.

30mph gusts this morning.  Apart from that one issue it handled it quite well.  And the new gimbal cover was a delight,  no aligning it just pops over.
