Great find DA.    Very creative use of a drone.  I would have thought overheating would have been a problem but appears not as long as you turn the drone off between shots.  I'm definitely going to give this a try.

I loved the bit about using the RC as a remote monitor so he can make sure he's in the shot.

Yes, that was a great use I forgot to mention when I commented on the video.  That was something I never even considered doing, but I will give it a try now.

Curious use of a drone.  Why would he not just use the Pocket2 and DJI Mimo instead?

Can you elaborate a little on best way to attach your mini 3 to a tripod? Is a rubber band the only solution?

I just got handled setup for the mini 3. Kind of cheap but I will let you know how it works
