Im looking at buying a drone from a second party that has been Bounded to an account. If they are unable to log in and unbound is this still possible by doing a factory reset and then updating the firm ware?

Hi Gergg. Thank you for reaching out. If you purchased a secondhand/used DJI Mini 3 Pro, the aircraft is bounded to the account of the previous owner. To remove the aircraft from the account, there is no need to connect the aircraft to the DJI Fly app but the bound account can only operate this function. Therefore, we strongly recommend you contact the previous owner to remove the said drone from his/her account. Factory reset and updating the firmware will not work on unbinding the account to the previous owner. Hope this helps. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Only the original owner can unbind it,   no reset or firmware updates will effect the binding.  

You must contact the original owner to do that.
