So whats a group of tractors called?

In the US that would be called a fleet.  When companies have more than 20 vehicles they get special license plates that are titled with Fleet.  Has nothing to do with the Navy

Fleet = A group of vessels or vehicles, such as taxicabs or fishing boats, owned or operated as a unit.

Except they would all have to have the same owners for that I think.    In this case "stock" might be the better grouping.

My pleasure DA.  The only thing close to that "fleet" was when a ship at the Miami port was unloading over 400 Toyotas.  It filled up an entire parking lot next to a monster sized warehouse.  I was flying out of Miami that day but when I looked out the window shortly after take off I saw that massive parking lot of brand new Toyotas.

Seems like the farmers have decided to make a great gathering for all their tractors

As for what to call it... I don't have enough imagination for that. The first thing that popped into my mind was "a bunch of tractors", but I have a feeling that barely qualifies

Could well have been.  Speaking of underwater drones....

Many in the industry believe we are just a few years away from technology which can rival the importance of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV).

To get to that point significant challenges must still be overcome, including vehicle manoeuvrability, power restrictions, autonomous system integration and cooperation between underwater systems. Organisations, including the US Office for Naval Research, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and Nato have been working alongside commercial and non-commercial parties to address these issues.

Now, those years of efforts may be about to pay off.  If you get some free time do a little reading on DARPA’s Deep Sea Operations Programm (DSOP).  Quite the advance technology they are working on.
