Have you ever flown over the shooting range?

I wasnt planning on flying over but as it appeared to be closed I took a look.

Yes.  I think that would count,     In the process of finding a good TOALP I pulled up outside the place and it was only as I was turning around did I notice what it was,  I found a different place to fly from.

I have had a couple of threats from people about shooting a drone down. So .... Yeah, I would be careful myself.

A friend of mine flys microlights and shares an airport with another pilot,   the other pilot flew over a certain mobile home camp and came under fire from them,    he reported it to the police but they were not willing to go in and ask questions.

It wasnt good for them and the area was never cleaned up like it was supposed to be, but since they cleared it a lot of the bad behaviour has stopped.

They used to be as real nuisance,  they would fill old caravans with rubbish and tyres and set them on fire next to main busy roads.  or I new building where I was working on snagging the work and overseeing some of the installations,  they would come in over night and steal drums of fibre optic cable,   they then took it back to the site and burned it for the scrap metal,  except there wasnt any as it was fibre and mylar.   The security followed them on a number of occasions but the police would not enter.

Looking on their Facebook page they have multiple ranges there fort different types of shooting. And an indoor range.

In my late teens l practiced at a local club for a while. I  even had my own bow. Never kept it up.

I'm a big fan of indoor ranges, especially in the super hot summer time.  Police your brass at an outdoor range in 100 degree weather can be quite challenging.  However, when I want to shoot my Barret M107 I have to go to a large outdoor range as it would blow the back wall out of an indoor facility.  Great for hunting massive sized animals though.

Hunting isn't really a thing in the UK on the scale that it is in the US.   I've never been. Not in France either, where there is quite a strong hunting culture. ( La Chasse)

I don't hunt as much as I used to.  Unless you are a member of a hunting club or have tons of acreage of your own to hunt on it can get dangerous real quick.  Even with your own acreage, it seems that during hunting season No Trespassing signs are not complied with.  Much safer just to make a trip to the market or seafood store.  During my early Navy career I experienced getting shot at and that was not fun and getting shot with that spear gun reminded me why I don't desire to get shot again.
