Another nice spot David.  I walked past a mini-digger yesterday and thought about taking a pic. But the operator didn't seem too keen on me approaching, so I let the opportunity slip

Yes,  that one is in the boat yard and seems to mostly be used for spreading cockle shells.

Well he was a landscape gardner in the front garden of a semi in the nearby village, so I think he was legit

Can you Dig it?   Spotted an Mini digger on a trailer at the traffic lights. Bagged it with the Action2.
Still bigger than the one I saw yesterday though.

For some reason the Action 2 flipped into vertical mode ( which I don't like. So I clipped it off a screen grab from the video. Must have missed a bit.

That definitely looks the right size for that job and still be able to maneuver around all the boats in storage there.

Just had some good news,  DJI will cover the repair of the Smart Controller (RM500) for free

Pretty sure it was unrelated.    No more flying today,  we're due 47mph winds.

The plastic had cracked on both sides,   I wasnt going to do anything but I saw someone else had the same issue and it was a manufacturing defect.

I went shopping and then went down to capture the new boat before incase it departs before I can get another shot (I like to be the first on marintracker if I can).  The wind is killer out there but it's warm around 14c so a bit unpleasant clothes wise.

I walked out to Chinley to photograph the Mini digger for you, but the job was complete and it had gone

This one has been there for a long time. It rarely moves so far as I can tell.

I was going to suggest thats because theres no number plate but then I see you blanked it,   There was a van camper conversion parked round the corner this morning,   curtains closed and also had no plates on it.  Not sure thats legal to be parked without plates on the highway

Due to the weather I was a slacker today and only did 2 walks 3 miles each. Plus the various supermarkets.    When the weather gets a bit more predictable I'll start increasing the distance again.

10 would be about my maximum, on mixed terrain. Taking a good chunk of the day.

The terrain makes all the difference,    Ive covered 13 miles today according to my watch,  all flat though,   10 miles up and down snowdon would have probably killed me.
