There's usually some good deals on eBay if you dont mind waiting for the shipping.

I bought a hard case for my drone, but to be honest I hardly use it.  The soft case from the Flymore kit is quite adequate.

I use hard cases for all of my gear.  Keeps me organized.  Everyone travels different though.  Make it your decision so you are styling your way!

That original bag is pretty good.  First time a drone has come with a bag that I would use as-is.

For travel, personal use and fun the original backpack is perfect for me. For work I need more gears and batteries so my TomCase is the choice!

I agree. I feel like I will probably stick to the soft case for now.

I had a Mini One a few years ago that came with a neat lightweight hard case, but the Mini3Pro soft carry case with shoulder strap is much more convenient, leaving hands free.

I would actually prefer the original bag over this.

One thing to note. If you use a lanyard with the mounting screws and buy a case that is too tight to fit you will be dealing with that… also I have hard cases for mini 3 pro (too tight with aftermarket gimbal cover) and Avata, and Mavic. All 3 cases are good out of the box but any addons to your gear probably won’t fit.  I just got a really good camera / laptop bag. I put the Mavic 3 and the Mini 3 in the fly more bag that came with the mini 3 (the grey shoulder bag) and put batteries in there then put that bag in the backpack Main pouch then any accessories and remotes in the other pouches and I can pack more (safely) with mount all the hard cases.

In my camera backpack setup I can fit:

1 Mini 3 pro plus DJI RC and 3 batteries
1 Mavic 3 with DJI Pro RC and 4 batteries
1 DJI Avata with the RC controller, goggles and 3 batteries + goggles battery

And more.   I take this with me when I go bike riding and haven’t had any issues.

Hi All,

Imho people who need to carry more than what I guess DJI considers standard or fly more standard (i.e. the drone , controller and 3 batteries plus spare props / nd filters , etc) maybe those people would benefit from a hard case. I personally just use the soft case that came with the Mavic 3 fly more combo. I converted it to backpack though (by default it comes as a shoulder bag and that was too small for me). Btw just fyi in case you are looking for a hard case, I have it as well for my DJI Goggles White (v1 I think) and I had gotten it from Amazon originally and had to return it because of really horrible smell that came out of it. I actually bought the cheapest one available thinking they are all the same, but it seems the ones that are branded are much better than just cheaper unbranded  hard cases, in particular because of the smell they produce , like really strong plasticky kind of smell. I ended up getting a more expensive semi branded hard case for my Goggles and that one was like day and night, pretty much barely any smell like I had with the cheap one. Just wanted to share my 2 cents, i.e. in case you are thinking of getting a hard case just maybe beware of cheap unbranded hard cases as they could smell really bad
Hope this helps someone.

Take care, Mike.

I have a hard case for 3 drones, 12 batteries and 3 controllers....I give it for free ))))

I use from 2 years ago only soft cases as compact as it can be....no point to go with a 8kg empty case and another 8 kg hardware....will kill your back and also is not comfy at all....
