They did the same for the pro system section.  Now if you want to see the M3E and T threads you have to go to Mavic.  For Matrice it is in Pro system.  it was already boring with P4R and P4M, instead of solving the problem they amplified it.

It's very reminiscent of the typical DJI corporate culture.

So what is the question? I liked it the old way. Is that yes or no?

The question is would you like to see it restored to the old way? the answer is either yes or no.

O,r as an alternative, a new section added for new posts or threads that shows new threads or posts in/to any of the three forums Mavic, Mini, Air..

It would seem that even with this forum pseudo-clarification regarding Mavic, Air and Mini, it's still too complicated to put the threads in the right place.
It's moderation, that's all. As long as the moderators do not work to bring order, the problem will persist.

I think we are all a bit resistant to change but this one doesn't make a whole lot of sense.  Does this fit under the category of "if it isn't broke, don't fix it"?

It is exactly that. They would have done better to offer moderator training.

To me it certainly is a ""if it ain't broke, don't fix it"?

Guess we will just wait and see if the polls help to change it back.

I found the previous menu items quite confusing and feel the new one is better.
But it will take time before I'm used to it
Every change will stumble upon resistance.
