It seems tha goggles image quality issue is back Image on iPad is fine in goggles it is showing artefacts like if supper high compression was used.

Getting same here. Very blocky image.

I've just installed the Virtual Flight on my iPad that hasn't yet been updated, and it works fine. The iPhone that has been updated is blocky so it's 100% the update that's caused it.

Same here, also after updating to iOS 16.4 on my iPhone.... hope there is a fix soon because it is unplayable like this!

Hi, same here iPad and iPhone is the 16.4 apple update for sure.  

I wonder what Apple is releasing a weeks long beta for developers for? For me, the error occurred since the first public beta of 16.4 (iPhone and iPad).

Apple has adjusted the category of the DJI Virtual Flight App, and the software is still in the adjustment and review stage. We know that this might take time that's why we only suggest to use another model device in the meantime. Thank you for your kind understanding.

Any idea of a timeline for the DJI Virtual Flight app to be approved by Apple and released?

IOS update 16.4.1 did NOT fix the issue. Still blocky.

As soon as I updated to 16.4, it is now blocky.    Like big pixels

I have the same issue since updating to iOS 16.4. Unfortunately I updated my iPad at the same time. Now I cannot fly anymore :-(

We will report it to our engineers to analyze so they can locate the issue. At present, we recommend that you try other mobile devices if possible. We appreciate your understanding.

DJI Virtual Flight App only. I AM able to fly normally using the DJI Fly App.

Well, the reply of try another device to use the Virtual Flight app doesn’t work. I tried my sons’ iPad last night running iPad iOS 16.1, and the same thing as everyone is reporting, the in-app goggle view is horrifically pixelated and blurry.

I don’t have much confidence in DJI at this point that they listen to their customers and reply accordingly.

Is there any news? I'd really like to be able to use the simulator again. I have the same issue since updating my iPhone and iPad...

iOS 16.5  Did NOT fix.

Still ABSOLUTE Sh@&$t resolution. This has gone on for too long DJI/Apple.

Same problem here. Time to fix this, this is really embarrassing.

No fix for this so far....

this is of no help to those with the problem and I have not read the entire thread but it's a good cautionary tale. I don't -ever- update iOS or MacOS for roughly a month so I can hear about these kind of issues. 16.4 also broke the ability to use an Apple dongle that I need regularly.

Same issues here, I bought the latest DJI Avata with the motion 2 controller to find out it did not work with the simulator, so as i want this when at work went out and bought the motion 1, and now find out that the sim is unusable anyway due to the pixelation, and then to have the nerve to suggest that we go out and get another device. DJI really seem to have dropped the ball in terms of customer care. Half A@#$ product release, wasting cash seem they don't listen to the public anymore. IF they know this is an issue why not send out an email suggesting we do not update until they have a fix, back peddling has to stop really these things are not inexpensive and need better support.

Hopefully, I didn't update my iPhone, still with 16.0.2. But Ipad with 16.4 totally sh
Also, my iPhone can do 120fps and Goggles can 100, so the app limit it to 60 and the setting says no limit. So one more disappointing

Brand new 16.5.1 iPhone update. Will this do the trick?
I have fully updated Goggle v2 firmware and the drone is updated as well. I still have the issue the blocky image issue.
Will this ever be fixed?

Is there ANY danger/hope of this ever getting fixed?
