Something wrong with RC. It doesn't charge battery fully. Charges only to 85%.
If RC is switched on then able to charge up until 100% but it discharges very quickly only one flight and it is down to 35%.
How to check battery health? Also never was able to charge it till 100% even when new.

Your battery is definitely bad. Why didn't you send it under warranty when it was new if the problem already existed?
You can take the battery out and put it in a LiPo charger to see what it says.

You can buy new batteries for the Mavic 2 controller, and it seems relatively easy to replace it. Plenty instructional videos on Youtube.

The problem seemed only cosmetical as no issues while it was new and plenty of similar complains that it doesn't show 100%. Could force it to 100% by slow charging with computer.

In price of used remote controller. No thanks. No non-OEM batteries has ever worked better than OEM. Not economically feasable.

Better would like to find other compatible RC with M2P which has larger battery than 3950mah.
