Saw a video on You Tube where they were saying that the DJI FPV was being phased out. That is why there are no updates to support the Goggle2 platform. Is this true?

no one is sure if and when there will be further updates to the dji fpv and for sure, it's not the reason why there is no compatibility.  however, it is very likely there is a dji fpv 2 on the way and right around the corner.  the dji fpv is not end of service as far as i know and there many of us who have a 2nd year of dji care refresh ready to trigger starting in may 2023 which means they need to support the drone well into 2024.  if anyone is interested, best buy (usa) has dji fpv refurbs for $549 which is a steal considering you get the drone and a battery plus rc2 and goggles v2.  these super low prices (dji sale price is $899 new) usually means we have a new model on the cusp; however, i am a big fan of using the dji older model for an additional year before upgrading to the next one.  dji fpv has been around for awhile so it is due considering we have an mc2 and goggles 2/integra that are not yet compatible.  "phased out" is not the right word but definitely heading toward end of life (because it is not remote id capable and likely never will be).

The DJI FPV is still available on our store website and there is no official statement from DJI that this product is already phased or belongs to EOL (end-of-life) products. As the said product is still available on our store website, we will continue to provide future firmware updates on this unit. Regarding Goggles 2 compatibility, the DJI FPV is not compatible with the DJI Goggles 2. Thank you for your understanding and support.
