Nice filming TT.  Controlled burning is good for open moorland. But when it catches fire out of control - Oh boy!  A real headache for the firefighters.

Yes. Most of the rural land probably was going to be burned, but out-of-control was a huge headache.

Always a tragic event when wildfires strike, especially when they burn over 6,000 acres.  Sad to see but you did a great job of documenting this event Tentoes.

By the end of Autumn this year, maybe the scars will be obscured.

Very sad to hear that the situation got out of control, but it was relieving to hear there were no reports of injuries or deaths. And you made a very illustrative video out of it. We Finns have an saying that roughly translates to: "Fire is a good servant but a bad master". So true here.

At least no one has been hurt.  

Well captured TT and although it looks pretty benign you can sure see why the winds would have been a problem.

It was a crazy day. Without the wind it would not have been much of a problem. As it is, the land will recover quickly. The houses, um, not so much.

Wildfires are not very common here since they learned to burn the land. The huge wind aggravated things. The little fires you see in my video are not very harmful. Trees will catch only if they're dead already. The grass and trees will green up shortly.

While I was filming the little fire burning leaves, a tree fell maybe 50 meters away. Did not have a camera pointing that way, but I saw it.
