Hi, I tried to reproduce how the Goggles 2 screen looks like depending on correcting knobs position from my eyes view. It was done via PhotoShop because I am not able to record it. Do you see it similar?
P.S. The "Goggles battery overheated" message I got on the screen when Goggles V2 battery was used. Strange...

The knobs are there so you can adjust them to your eyesight.  If they are not adjusted to the correct position, you will see it blurry.

It is not possible to adjust it correctly in any way. That's why I published the pictures.
I can see the best result when both knobs are in inner side but unfortunatelly there is a blurry stripe in the middle. This is option where I can see whole screen clearly and also all OSD elements are sharp clear but it is unusable because of the blurry stripe in the middle. When knobs are in outer sides, I can see whole screen but the blurry stripe in the midlle is even thicker. When the middle of the screen is nice clear sharp, I cannot see whole screen and all OSD elements near the edges are blurry.

Hello Robino

Do you have astigmatism in your eyes?

Astigmatism can not be corrected with the diopter adjustments and will cause a blurry image especially around the edges. Prescription lenses in the inserts of the goggles will help.

I have had them made and put them on my goggles and it helped considerably. They are still finicky to adjust perfectly for inter pupillary distance and diopter and still have a small amount of blurriness on the outside edges but the center is clear.

Hello Robino

Do you have astigmatism in your eyes?

Hi, no I do not have Astigmatism but I use glasses for reading + 0,75. Anyway, I bought the lenses just to try if it helps because when you try everything and not succeed you let yourself to try even stupid things but it did not help at all. I did not even know the correct parameter because I do not have Astigmatism so I randomly chose 60 degrees.

I just found the way how to see the screen right but I had to damage my face pad. I cut off the nose part and it no more pushes my nose and I took the material from the top part to get the forehead as close as possible to the goggles and it works!!! I can now see the screen as expected. Well, the face pad is damaged. Where am I going to get a new one like that from?

This is the after market facemask, or the original?
i have the after market one, this is already a bit better than original.
going to try the same kind of mod mod on mine just to see if i can see a bit more of the screen.

But for me, it is not that bad.

you get this kind of things on goggles with this FOV.
I got the same on my fatshark fpv goggles when i flew diy fpv drones and planes.

After you modify yours, please let me know how it is.
Of course it is aftermarket mask. I did not have a plan to modify stock mask. For me it is completely unusable. I asked aftermarket mask manufacturer to make a custom mask like this:

ah, thanks!

how is the light leakage with your mod?

I had to put some material between head strap and face pad because I had leakage from sides. It solved the problem. After I cut OFF nose part I didn't notice any and upper part is OK too.
For me it works, I only need to buy a new face pad (ordered one already) to make it better/nicer.

Well, I never had a problem with fogging.

First of all, I customised/damaged my aftermarket mask to find the proper way how to place the goggles on my face. Next, I damaged stock face pad. See attached pictures. This is going to be a base for the custom mask. Next step will be making the Worbla face mask and then I am going to use foam clay for getting it all together.

I am very curious how the Worbla mask will work on my face. Maybe, I won't like it.

This is going to be templete for Worbla face mask

Chinese is not willing to make a custom mask for me unless I order MOQ which is 500 psc. Well, what would I do with it?

LOL

I know what you mean, I have the goggles v2 and on the right lower area of the glass that infront of my right eye is slightly smudged or blurry what ever the heck its call due to mishandling on the production line. QA needs to do a better job.

You are on the same track as me.
Top part needs to be way closer, bottom part needs to be pushed right out. Side parts pushed right in to eliminate light leak. Nose part much, much wider. But apart from that they nailed it.
Seriously, the most ill fitting and uncomfortable goggles ever released.
You had a chance to rectify this with the goggles 2v2 or whatever they're called. And you messed it right up again.

Looks good so far, I'll look forward to the end result. Ordered myself an aftermarket (the thinner one, that you altered) and hope it will be better for my vision.

Amazing.

I can only recommend it. Now I have mask exactly made for my face. The foam clay is very good material. It is easy to sand it using sand paper. If necessary, more material can be added, even if already dried. It is said to take 24 to 48 hours to dry completely. In my opinion, the thicker it is, the longer it takes to dry

I will be honest with you, it is not 100% clear. Edges are still a bit blurry but it is much clearer now and the mask fits. From my point of view it is not possible to get better result from what I have now. I believe, I can see the same "clear" picture like it is now on Integra but with 51° FOV.

What do you mean? I´ve done it myself using scissors, stanley knife, heat gun, and sand paper. Material used: printer paper, baking paper, Worbla and Foam clay.
