I can’t turn off the DJI grip battery and it drives me nuts!
I know how to tap once, tap and hold to turn off DJI batteries, but on this battery nothing works.

If I use my rs3 pro and turn off the gimbal motors, the grip battery still remains on (green lights) and won’t turn off. It’s on standby.. which is very annoying because it drains the battery, the next morning the battery is dead. Only way is to every time disconnect the battery from the whole gimbal to turn the grip battery off.

I have used 3 different (brand new) batteries, all the same.

What is going on? Why can’t I turn off batteries and I have to wait for them to drain everytime??


I have tried long pressing the power button, refreshing the firmware, downgrading the firmware, etc. disconnecting the gimbal head from the battery grip, connecting/disconnecting the gimbal with my PC and connecting/disconnecting the gimbal with the provided charger. I am absolutrely at a loss as to what I need to do next.

Same here.  I can turn the battery on and off when not connected to Ronin RS3.  When I attatch the handle the lights immeadiately turn on and I can not turn them off..
