The problem of crashes of the Fly App appears to be a regular problem!

Once again, I am unable to open the Album in the Fly App.

It does open, then loads the images and then suddenly stops.
Then the Fly App restarts automatically but again opening the Album
continues to cause the problem.

I've already reinstalled the Fly App (ver. 1.9.9 / running on Redmi Note 8 Pro and Android 11) several times (with and without Storage and Cache clearing) and also rebooted the phone. But the problem persists, I can't open the Album or view Photos or Videos?
Some time ago, previous procedure solved the problem but now it no longer works!
Very annoying!

As already stated in my previous post it is a Redmi Note 8 Pro running on Android 11.
It has always worked with the occasional problem as described.
But now completely deleting App, Cache and Storage and reinstalling the App (downloaded from DJI site) does not help.

Because im having the same problem with my dji mini 2 and redmi note pro 8, and i can't find a solution.

No the problem is definitely not solved yet.
I have been asked by PM to send all kinds of information but haven't had time to send it yet.

I can't believe the I will have to buy a new phone so I can be able to use the app without problems ... that's definitely not a good solution ... so many people talking about the same problem over all this years and I don't see any solution anywhere from dji

Meanwhile, it seems to partially work again, after deleting some old recordings (but no effect!).
After some new recordings, the App seems to do it again as long as I don't scroll to older recordings! Very strange!

So it's not quite right yet, but I also haven't sent any information to DJI Tony yet!
This is because I am getting a bit tired of contacts with DJI service!
Lots of messages but no real solutions to stated problems in the past year (only 3 times!!! new (replacement/refurbished?) drone and still same problem!). In 2 years, I had 5 times Mini 2 Fly more combos and all with same problem of skewed horizon in 9x9 Wide Angele Panorama mode.

Nothing was ever fixed by DJI  .
But this has nothing to do with DJI Tony !

Since a phone reset, the DJI Fly app works again.
I have reset the phone to factory settings and set it up again.
There may have been conflicting apps. But not sure.
But the most important thing is that it works again.

(1)   Please clear the mobile phone cache and ensure that the mobile phone has enough storage available (10G or more is recommended). Hard restart the mobile phone.

I am having this problem on a Realme 6 running Android 11. The app was working fine with album view-ability for photos and videos for weeks but then suddenly started crashing... I have been able to get the media off the drone using DJI app on my iPhone but this is painful to do while traveling.  Any updates on this??

I had the same bug with dji album on Redmi note 8 pro and dji mini 2 se and it appeared suddenly after taking some photos and small videos of 2.7k.  When this bug happens, uninstalling and reinstalling new and old app versions doesn't fix this.  When press the album it opens and  after 2 sec crashes and app restarts, even without sd card and even without connecting to the aircraft. The fix in this case is to delete all these latest photos and videos from the phone gallery (better and from the sd card) taken by the drone that caused the bug and then turn off synchronization at camera settings. It's not needed to reset all phone for this.   To me there was 1 small video and 2 photos (not bugged or corrupted) that i had to delete from the phone gallery to fix the crash of dji album.

Hi there. Sorry about the trouble you experienced. You can clear just the materials on the DJI Album on your mobile device by going to Albums > Other Albums > DJI Album. I hope this helps. Have a nice day.
