I have really not done anything with the motion controller, fly with the normal controller, but decided to learn it.  After some frustration, all due to me, getting everything connected, controller, Virtual Flight on an android tablet, motion controller it did fly.

Went to go through the tutorial just because.

Started it, got to the screen that says to push the mode button to switch modes.  Nothing happens, will not proceed to the next screen.  Not a problem for real flying since I will probably never use sport mode.  Just wanted to go through the tutorial.  The motor start/stop screen worked fine.

Any ideas?

WOW, found this thread using a Google search.  https://forum.dji.com/thread-267980-1-1.html  Seems this has been a known issue for a very long time and has a work around.

Hi, Ranger7777. We apologize for the inconvenience. Currently, DJI Motion Controller only supports N-mode. The mode switch function is not available.
