Hello guys

I have a DJI mini 3 pro and I have a technical question to see if my drone is working properly.
I did a flight with Brake mode and I see the drone was stopping correctly just before a tree. But then I continue moved forward and the drone finally hit the tree.

Is that expected ? Ie the brake mode will stop the drone before hitting an obstacle but if pilot continue to push the stick toward the obstacle after the drone breaks, he will then hit it?
