At one point the two of them on deck were waving at the drone.  Not sure if that was good or bad though.

Great shot DA.    That's a really well equipped catamaran.  Even has a small solar panel.

It's quite an old boat,  built in 1995.     But it does have AIS onboard.

For its age it really looks well maintained.  Obviously it has been well taken care of over the years.

Yes.  I was quite surprised when I looked it up to find that out,  assuming the AIS database is correct of course.

I'm betting the AIS database is fairly current.  In any case, somebody has taken great care of that boat.

You see some odd entries like nullxnull sometimes,   but Id assume where there is data it would be accurate.

It is a lot. And the worst part was that is was very humid.
Up to 40% in some areas.
I cut away a lot already so it can dry out.

Ive used a wood hardener to treat rot before that worked well,  but not as much as its sounds like you have.  Good luck.

I have used that too indeed.
But never experienced this.
I will check on other joints as well, so far most were ok luckily.

But Im lucky to be sitting in my conservatory watching a fox on my shed roof which has brought me some cheer.

It is as some years ago it was a favourite spot for a different fox and now we seem to have a new one with a fox cub in tow
