To comply with local regulations I set max altitude 20 m in my AVATA. The message Max Altitude was shown for couple seconds when I was approaching a tree which, I discovered later ..., was a bit higher than 20 m. The circle confused me because it followed my attempt to increase the altitude, but, off course the drone stayed at 20m.  So ... I crashed against the tree branch and damaged my Avata. See last seconds in my picture.

I think that when max altitude has been reached the circle should stayed straight without giving the feeling to be able to overcome the obstacle.

Hello, there. Sorry for the inconvenience. The white circle indicates the direction the aircraft will go when you press Accelerator. It does not indicate whether the aircraft will be able to go further.   In your case, you set the Max height to 20 m, the aircraft is subject to the settings because it is less than the restricted height.
We saw an Altitude zone notification in the picture. It is related to local regulations and fly safe, which acts as a reminder. You may obtain detailed movements of the aircraft in different scenarios can be viewed here: https://fly-safe.dji.com/nfz-introduction
Please pay attention to that and be careful about the flight environment when flying. Seeing that your drone crashed, we will recommend you send it back for repair. Here is the link:https://www.dji.com/support/repair?from=store_homepage

Thank you very much for your response. I already sent the Avata for servicing.
Mine was a simple suggestion for a possible improvement in the indications on the Goggle display. The possibility to move upwards the circle set by the Motion Controller without having the drone following it because max altitude reached (no matter which altitude was set) is, in my opinion, a bit misleading, because gives the pilot the false information that the drone can go up when it cannot do it because the altitude limit has been reached. Anyway ... lesson learned )
