Hi, filz80. Thank you for reaching out. Please try to update the DJI fly using the steps below:
Download the installation package (apk file) through the computer and directly connect the RC Pro to the computer through a type-C cable or use the SD card method and transfer it to the RC Pro, and find the corresponding installation package file for installation. Download link: (https://www.dji.com/downloads/djiapp/dji-fly).
1) Download the APK file (for Android) from the official DJI website, and the download location is as follows:
2) Move the file to the root directory of the SD card; or connect the RC Pro to the computer via a type-C cable and move it to the built-in storage of the RC Pro.
(This picture shows the method of directly connecting RC Pro to the computer to transfer files)
3) Enter the corresponding path through the RC Pro file manager (named "Files" on RC Pro) , find the apk file, and click the file to install.
This picture shows the path location installed to the internal storage of RC Pro. If you use an SD card, please first select the path as SD card in the file manager, and then find the corresponding apk file:
4) Click the file to update/upgrade (the update in this way will cover the original App version and the original data will not be lost)
Also, if you have time, please provide us the following details before you update the DJI FLY for further checking of this issue:
• App log and Rc log and tested time. Below are the details on how to export the logs:
RC LOG:
[Method 1] Export log via DJI Assistant 2
1. Download DJI Assistant 2 (Consumer Drones Series) at: https://www.dji.com/cn/downloads ... sumer-drones-series
2. Power on DJI RC Pro and connect it to the computer with the USB cable. Launch DJI Assistant 2 and export the corresponding log.
[Method 2] Export log via DJI Fly
1. Launch DJI Fly. Go to “Profile”, “More”, and “Flight Data Center”, then tap the icon at the upper right corner, and select the product model to DJI RC Pro.
2. Select the log you want to upload and wait for the upload to complete.
APP Log:
1. Power on the remote controller.
2. Connect one end of a USB-C cable to the USB-C port at the bottom of the DJI RC Pro remote controller, and connect the other end to the computer.
3. Find the disk named “DJI RC Pro” in the hard disk root directory.
4. Double click and open the “internal shared storage”, and follow the path “Internal Storage/android/data/dji.go.v5/files/LOG” to find the app log file folder, and copy the entire folder to DJI.
Kindly upload it to Dropbox or Google Drive along with the screen recording/video of the issue and provide us the shareable link via PM. Thank you for your cooperation. |
